New Year, New Beginnings

So, here we are. A new year!

This year sees some major changes for me and mine.

After an unplanned 18 month return to Perth, Australia (thanks to Covid), I am hoping to soon return to Jakarta. After many months apart, the boys and I are looking forward to being reunited with my husband and our friends there. The boys are also looking forward to inflating all the pool toys Santa brought for Christmas and jumping back into our super-sized swimming pool (honestly, the pool is just crazy large!).

So, with big changes on the horizon, I have decided to re-launch and re-pivot my business.

If you have followed me for a while, you will know I used to be an economist. After dabbling in interior decorating on the side for many years, in 2019 I decided to take the plunge and enrolled in a 12 month diploma of Interior Design. In 2021 I launched my own little business, Interiorology.

2021 was an exciting new chapter for me and I was very lucky to work with some wonderful clients, mostly working on in-person decorating projects. From colour selections, to room refreshes, I was able to turn my passion into a real business.

In 2022, I want to take that passion and experience and focus more on single room refreshes. To that end, I am making some changes to my business.

First off, you might have noticed the new logo and colour scheme.

Why the change? Well, put simply, as my business grows, I wanted a more professional look and one that encapulates what both myself and Interiorolgy stand for.

My focus is on delivering affordable but classical and beautiful spaces. It’s Your Home, and it should be done Your Way (with my guidance of course).

Choosing colours that I love to decorate with, and recognising my French background and love of the country classic look, I settled on a palette of muted but still warm grey-greens and lavenders, as well as a lavender image. I do hope you like it!

Secondly, I am making changes to my service list, pivoting towards e-decorating solutions (also known as e-design or online decorating).

Like the name suggests, online decorating means you get to work with an interior decorator (me hopefully!) but rather than doing so in person, we collaberate using modern technology. You get all the benefit of my knowledge, but because it is online, it is a fraction of the usual cost. Better still, you get the excitement that comes with opening up your email and seeing a beautifully curated room renovation all set out for you. You can then take the shopping list provided to you and make your purchases when it suits you. How good is that!

Thirdly, I am offering all potential customers a FREE 15 Minute Discovery Call. This allows us to have an early chat and for you to ask any questions you might have about how I can help you. If, at the end of our chat, we think we can work together, then let’s make it happen!

Finally, I have completely overhauled my website. Taking my cues from the new colour palette and business focus, I have update the site and also added in the option of online bookings for both my Free 15 Minute Discovery Call, as well as my E-decorating Package. Just click on the links here to get going!

And while you are here visiting my new website, don’t forget to sign up to my mailing list. I absolutely promise not to spam you, but this way you can be confident that you are the first to know about any upcoming specials, not to mention new blogs and interior decorating advice. Better yet, sign up today, and I will send you a copy of my FREE Top 6 Tips to Creating the Hamptons Look in Your Home.
